Age Concern North Staffordshire had recently been awarded funding by Stoke on Trent city council to establish a new service for older people requiring support to continue living independently at home.

Salary £6.17 per hour

We wish to recruit staff as Home Support Workers to work within the city in service users own homes, which will provide a quality service to people over the age of 50years

You will activately be involved in enabling people to remain in their own homes through a package of support. We are looking for people who have had experience in working with older people in a confidential way. Duties to include travelling to people’s homes to carry out general cleaning, ironing and shopping as required.

You must be reliable, honest and have good communication skills.

You will need a positive and flexible approach to work and be willing to cover for colleagues during absence

All appointments will be subject to Criminal Records Bureau checks
